In the new, fast-paced, technological society in which we live, it is beneficial for teachers to understand and use this technology to their advantage. This blog is the process of my learning to do so.

Jing

Today we learned about the program Jing. Below is the image I've created.
Here it is online. It's been saved "in the cloud" on screencast.
And here is the image I've saved to my desktop.
Make sure to update the program. None of this worked until I did.


This fits the NETS Standard:
1) Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity
b) engage students in exploring real-world issues and solving authentic problems using digital tools and resources

For presentations, it would prove useful to be able to write and draw on images, as well as capture an image from anywhere on the screen.
